Fake is a big word that implies that something is not real, not authentic, or not original, it’s a mask, a facade.
In the flick of your fingers everything can change, and these implications of being fake, or being wrong, are no longer relevant, no longer paralyzing.
And the fake-ness of the mask starts becoming a theatre, someone putting up a show, and don’t get me wrong, these shows can be amazing, captivating, transformative, but the problem is that is impersonal, and this is not only the problem but it’s also the solution.
There’s a sense of freedom that comes from the impersonal, and a sense of belonging when it comes to the personal.
One of the things that I’m most fascinated with is — duality. The sense of the belonging in personal, and the sense of freedom in impersonal, can only be accessed after overcoming your state of duality.
Ahhhhh? Are you serious!?
Yes and No.
Yes, because this is real, when you “see” that the coin has two sides, and that your being obviously expands beyond these two dimensions, then you’re not hooked by one or the other, although we remain connected to it, your being is not pulled one way or the other.
No, because none of this is going to make anything significantly beneficial for you, and because this is improvisation, not stagnation.
See improvisation sometimes can seem like the most chaotic thing you’ve ever done, yet at the end of the process you get the result of what you created. If you improvise a poem for your loved one, or give an improvised compliment to someone you saw in the street, you get the result, the feedback, right away.
This feedback you can feel in your being, your being knows if you’re in a state of improvisation or if it’s in a state of pretending.
So improvisation must be fluid, in a way no time to stop to think about it, just spark, let the first thing that wants to come out to come out, keep flowing with yourself, not in a rush, but not in delaying your way, and no matter how much advice someone can give you in improvising, you don’t learn anything until you yourself give it a try.
So, this is an invitation to be inspired, to see what comes up for you, to become a writer, an Oblivion Rider.
